PvP Tourney 07/01/06: Submitted by Blackstar
There was a nervous energy in space, as if all the cosmos was tense and expecting something. Then smoothly 12 combatants entered the arena around Surrey station.Surrey took a dislike to Oryoku for past indiscretions so Oryoku moored a couple of kilometers away.
Anubis drew up the match table and combatants were paired off. Soon came the turn of Godzilla to fight a vastly over spec Cruiser. Valiantly did the little fighter struggle but eventually he fell, but not before critically damaging the cruiser and immobilising her engines.
Rescue teams were sent out to recover the escape capsule of Godzilla and he was quickly and efficiently recover and taken back to Surrey.
Next up was Oryoku against a Sith. The Sith used all the powers of the mysterious Sith Cult, but was no match for the superior fire power of the Oryoku.
Many rounds passed Oryoku went through all unscathed until the semi's where the valiant dog fighter was no match for the long beams of OPG Jackle.
Lex Talionis finished the tourney in 3rd place with 15 mill cash and a number of spec armours.
Lex will be back for more!!!
Lex Talionis: The new motion picture! : Sharnhorst
You heard it here first:
I've started doing a little 3DS max
animation for the Lex clan. Initially the production was being produced
for the [BORG]. They asked me to do a clan video but production costs
ran way high and it appears thethe [BORG] seem to have disappeared
following a sticky administration of assets. So the movie has found it's
way into the rightful hands of the Lex Talionis who rescued the movie
production and increased investment.
"I've got the milkshape 3D software to export all the shipfiles
from Freelancer so I'll keep people posted." Sharnhorst said

January will always be a momentous time for the Lex Talionis and will be celebrated in the hearts of all like minded people. this month marks a monumental change in the policies of the clan. After much debate the Lex Talionis has dropped their passive Freelancer stance and have moved in favour of a much more positive and direct stance of becoming a Hunter clan.
All observers will notice that the Freelancers will slowly dwindle in number while they turn out their new [H] craft. One has already entered the system with a bang RAGE. Please observe him keeping the peace and assisting Traders throughout the system in his high spec Kusari battleship. Woe be tide any Pirate who crosses his path1
Good luck to all Lex Talionis who take the step into the Hunter world. The universe is a better place for it.
Fallen[X] - First pirate to invoke a personal Lex Talionis! - Sharnhorst
Pirates and a Sith has turned into an all out
confrontation today in Shinkoku.
With most Lex Talionis forces spread to the far corners on escort
missions it was left to the Sharnhorst to attempt to restore order.
However it was not to be. The vengeful Fallen[X] exacted costly revenge
from the badly damaged Scharnhorst, the intervention of Lord Emperor
providing much needed support.
Tables were turned back in favour of the Pirates when Leadcrows cut a
destructive swathe across the battle space. The appearance of the USS
Defiance stabilised matters all to briefly as two BORG took advantage of
the chaos to assimilate defenseless Junyo citizens and destroy planetary
defenses.
Smoke and wreckage still clouds the upper atmosphere of the Lex Talionis
home world. However, the call has gone out, the storm is gathering. The
Lex Talionis has been evoked.

In light of Rebel-X's decision to relocate and mindful of the need to
keep a stable system Lex Talionis here by would like to claim Shikoku.
If ratified by server admin, in order to insure a peaceful transition
lex will keep activity to a minium while Rebel-X move out in respect of
their decision.
Lex Talionis would also like to point out that this move would free
Yakoutsk for interested parties i.e. BORG
