Lots of gases in this system makes it hard to see and a treacherous place to search. Many wrecks reside here and a lot of illegal trade passes through due to the difficulty in locating law transgressors. Although the miners find this a lucrative place for extracting the valuable gases.

Bases in California

California is rich with bases and has good populations scattered around the system. This is why the Lex Talionis moved here. With dense population demographics the Lex Talionis influence will be stronger and also the clan will be able to protect more lawful life.
